So far I have been slowly and steadily been filling out surveys for different sites (examples here) which have now accumulated to a respectable amount.
It is not much compared to other sites and not as reliable since you do not know beforehand how many surveys you will be able to fill out and what they will pay but still enough to make it worthwhile.
My total earnings are thus far: $168,62 from surveys, averaging $1 per 4th minute, or $14 per hour. Now during the summer I am seeing a decline in surveys available which is to be expected.
The good thing about surveys is that you can choose yourself when you want to fill it in. You can do it while some other site you frequent is low on money making opportunities or while doing something else.

Weegy - Still going strong!
I have been an expert for Weegy since 7/24/2011, which is about 334 days now. It has had its and up and downs with a decline in earnings which seems to be stabilizing at $0.16 per answered question.
This of course depends on many different variables such as time of the day, your length of service on Weegy, your ratings, your flag history and controll by the administrators.
This quickly adds up and as I have answered about 7,000 questions to date we can easily see it is possible to make more than pocket change on this website.
In the last few days we have seen wonderful updates including a refresh button for our statistics which is now working as intended and more such as our ratings and comments.
To the left we can see what the new user interface looks like.
Level, points, this month's points and ratings are all important statistics to know and will affect your earnings per question answered while some details like the total earnings due may be important if you are including these earnings in your budget.
One really convenient thing albeit not a recent feature is the possibility of using ENTER to make a new line instead of automatically sending your text to the user. Compared to when I started out there are a lot more experts and one would think the competition would make it nigh impossible to receive questions but that is not true. Sure, I don't receive as many questions as I would like but there is still a steady flow.

Total earnings divided by total answered questions, calculated for
each iteration of 25 answered questions.
As always Weegy pays out monthly if you have accumulated more than $20.00 in your Weegy account.

Who can we believe during such dark times?
While investment programs come and go there are ways where you can legitimately earn money with next to no risk. Sites like Amazon Mechanical Turk and Weegy are still going strong (up to over 4,000 questions answered on Weegy at this moment!) together with different survey sites.
I keep track of all my internet earnings and while you do have to put down some effort in order to make money on the mentioned websites it is a lot more rewarding.
You are either helping a person look up information and answer questions (Weegy) or you are doing real, but very mundane, work at Amazon Mechanical Turk.
The two sites together with the surveys have netted me over $1,000 earnings during this blog's lifetime. That is quite a feat on just about five months.
Note that I do not spend that much time on these sites every day. Weegy is different since I can do other things while waiting for questions - for example studying.
On average I would say I earn about $10 to $12 for every hour I spend on these things which is more than the minimum wage in some countries. One upside is of course I make my own "schedule" and the fact that I can do these things while doing something else.
I recommend you check out Weegy, Amazon Mechanical Turk and sign up for some survey sites if you have the time for it! It is really rewarding.

BuxifY - Dead?

Just prior to Christmas BuxifY promised us a rework of the site due to the large dip in daily dividends we all saw. The BuxifY version 2 as they called it has been delayed on several occassions now.
Just two weeks ago they told us the new BuxifY v.2. would be up and running on the 23rd, which it wasn't. They also told us we would be required to confirm our e-mail adresses before the 29th but no way of confirmation has been provided for us.
BuxifY is not a regular high-yield investment program and has actually made a lot of people money during its long lifetime, which is why the investors trust Mark & James (the creators of BuxifY, Buxjunction, Bux-Matrix, et.c.) to come back stronger than ever.
I believe they are just faking the postponement so people can not dispute their transactions to BuxifY. This way they can save that little extra cash they would have lost otherwise.
I guarantee you. BuxifY will NOT come back! Another big blow to the investment industry. BuxifY has been running since the first of May, 2008 according to their website and has apparently paid out $1,169,663.46 since its start-up.

Macro Trade - Inofficially dead for an indefinite time

With the last few weeks prior to Christmas Macro Trade halted their payments to some of their investors. They keep selectively paying some of the monitors to keep tricking people into investing more money.
This has been a huge blow to the trust of high-yield investment programs overall since Macro Trade was one of the giants in the industry.
Most high-yield investment programs never last through the winter period - people are less likely to invest when they have less money available on average (due to Christmas et.c.)
This industry will keep on spawning new scams since it is most definitely an easy way to trick people into giving away their money with little to no repercussions.
Man in his or her natural state is most often very trusting and thus can believe these people are in it to help you earn cash but do note they do NOT care about you at all! They only want to have a cash flow so they themselves can earn from it.
Some people who invest in the right moment may receive some spoils of war but most of you don't.
If they knew how to have a stable interest rate like they advertise (without running a ponzi scheme) why in the world would they let other people in on it? It would just be bad for their business.
While you on regular honest investments have some sort of deposit insurance (depends on where you live) these high-yield investment programs are in fact just gambles. I see a lot of people are very pissed but they must have known what they got themselves into.
Promising interest rates of unbelievable proportions are usually a sign of an unsustainable project and will inevitably die rather sooner than later.

BuxifY - Continued analysis - (18-12-2011)
At this moment I have been using BuxifY for over a hundred days. What are my feelings about the program now? It started out well with me eventually being in profit in just a month or two but for some reason the value of BF$ plummeted a few weeks ago.
I heard the reason was AlertPay restricting credit-card payments which led to fewer investments on the site. For now almost no one will be able to stay in profit unless they already have a huuuge buxify balance and keeps pumping out cheap upgrades - which might net you 3$ a month which is just a fraction of what you used to be able to earn.
I kept track of my daily dividends and buxify balance in order to create a few diagrams, I will provide two of them below;

Daily dividend (in dollars) divided by buxify balance, "daily buxify balance to pay-out ratio".

Daily earnings. (In dollars)

Apple-Bux - Scam
As expected Apple-Bux also turned into a scam. It was so obvious with that admin and I hope people stayed away from the site after all the bad signs. If you invested within thirty days of today you can file a dispute to recover some of your losses.
